Trump Reluctantly Signs Spending Bill, Demands Line Item Veto & Senate Go Nuclear *VIDEO* #Trump #omnibus

President Trump signed the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill, despite threatening to veto the legislation.

Many conservatives decried the spending bill, but said that the only bright side they could see of the bill was the military spending, and the fact that even if President Trump had budgets like this every year, it would still only end up being half of what President Obama blew through with little to show for it.

Trump signed the mammoth legislation reluctantly, saying that, in order to secure a necessary increase in military spending, he had to give money to Democratic projects that he dubbed as a “wasted sum of money.”

“It’s not right and it’s very bad for our country,” he said.

But he said that military spending was very important, and that concern overrode his thoughts about vetoing the legislation.

“Therefore, as a matter of national security, I’ve signed this omnibus budget bill. There are a lot of things I’m unhappy about in this bill…But I say to Congress, I will never sign another bill like this again. I’m not going to do it again,” he said.

He also called on Congress to end the filibuster in the Senate and to give him a line item veto.

“To prevent the omnibus situation from ever happening again, I’m calling on Congress to give me a line item veto for all government spending bills,” he said. “And the Senate must end — they must end — the filibuster rule and get down to work.”

For a bit of perspective, former Speaker John Boehner & Paul Ryan passed no budgets for several years, giving Obama a blank check, to which the United States ended up $20 trillion in debt, and at the current rate of spending President Trump would still only spend a fraction over $10 trillion in the same time period.

As well, the only scandal Trump is involved in is a fake Russia scandal created by Obama, Hillary, and the Democrat’s collusion with Russia themselves.

And of course let us not forget that while the spending bill is indeed horrible, at least President Trump isn’t responsible for the assassination of Seal Team Six in Afghanistan, nor did he allow 4 to die at Benghazi so he could kick start ISIS with a warehouse of weapons, and $6 billion in “missing” state department funds.

So there is that.
