President Trump said Friday that Congress might not reach an immigration deal by March 5, when protections begin expiring for many DACA recipents, the majority of whom are adults now, living in the U.S.
“We want to make a deal. I think they want to use it for political purposes, for elections,” Trump said during an appearance at a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility in Virginia.
“I really am not happy with the way it’s going, from the standpoint of the Democrats,” he added.
The president has sounded increasingly pessimistic about the chances of brokering a sweeping immigration deal involving the illegal aliens, most of whom are now adults, known as “Dreamers.”
Trump tweeted Friday morning that Democrats “aren’t calling” about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which he scrapped last year.
March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Democrats are doing nothing about DACA. They Resist, Blame, Complain and Obstruct – and do nothing. Start pushing Nancy Pelosi and the Dems to work out a DACA fix, NOW!

The Democrats just aren’t calling about DACA. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have to get moving fast, or they’ll disappoint you again. We have a great chance to make a deal or, blame the Dems! March 5th is coming up fast.

Trump has offered a proposal that would offer a path to citizenship for as many as 1.8 million DACA-eligible illegal alien invaders in exchange for funding for his border wall and steep cuts to legal immigration.
But the plan has run into opposition from Republicans who understand the United States is being invaded, and Democrats who want nothing less than the destruction of the Republic, despite Trump calling for a Senate vote during his State of the Union address.
