President Trump Suggests There Should Be An Award For Most Fake News
Continuing his twitter war against fake news, President Trump tweeted on Monday morning: “We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me). They are all bad. Winner to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY!”

Trump also retweeted an example of “fake news” from MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” where the anchors pre-taped their day-after-Thanksgiving show and passed it off as live, talking about turkey and football before the actual holiday.
Trump’s comment: “The good news is that their ratings are terrible, nobody cares!” (The anti-Trump anchors of the show on Monday defended their pre-taped show as a “schtick.” “We’ve been doing this for ten years,” Joe Scarborough said.)

In two other tweets over the holiday weekend, Trump said he wished the “fake news” would report more on his accomplishments, and blasted NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s pathetic response to kneeling national anthem ingrates.
Wow, even I didn’t realize we did so much. Wish the Fake News would report! Thank you. https://t.co/ApVbu2b0Jd

Can you believe that the disrespect for our Country, our Flag, our Anthem continues without penalty to the players. The Commissioner has lost control of the hemorrhaging league. Players are the boss! https://t.co/udXP5MR8BC

And he once again praised Fox News and panned CNN, tweeting on Saturday: “[email protected] is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly. The outside world does not see the truth from them!”
