WATCH – Rand Paul Blasts Brennan as “Completely Unhinged Communist” & MORE *VIDEO* #Trump #CIA #Obama

Sen. Rand Paul expressed concern of former CIA director John Brennan’s anti-Trump bias and what he did while “harboring” that hate when he was in charge of the agency. Paul told FOX News host Martha MacCallum that Brennan is a “Trump hater” and “completely unhinged.”

PAUL: “John Brennan started out his adulthood by voting for the Communist Party presidential candidate. He is now ending his career by showing himself to be the most biased, bigoted, over-the-top, hyperbolic, unhinged director of the C.I.A. we’ve ever had.

It really is an insult to everything about our government, to have a former head of the C.I.A. calling the President treasonous just because he doesn’t like him. You know, I filibustered Brennan. I tried to keep Brennan from ever being the leader of the C.I.A.

But realize that Brennan and Clapper are known for wanting to expand the authority of the intelligence agencies to grab up everyone’s information, including Americans’, and so I don’t have a lot of respect for these people. Even before they decided to go on hating the President, I disliked these people because they wanted to grab up so much power and use it against the American people.”

Paul was reacting to comments that Trump made about Brennan in an upcoming interview with FNC’s Tucker Carlson.

“I think he’s a very bad guy and if you look at it, a lot of things happened under his watch. I think he’s a very bad person,” Trump told Carlson.

“I agree completely,” Paul said of Trump’s stance. “I think John Brennan’s completely unhinged and you see him now calling the president treasonous.”

“What should worry every American is John Brennan was in charge of the CIA, the most powerful intelligence gathering group on the planet,” he said. “They can absorb every bit of information you can imagine, your phone calls, your metadata, your bank records, your visa records. They can destroy any person’s life. The person at the head of that turns out to be a very much partisan, a Trump hater and very much just someone who is a, you know, Trump hater, I guess that’s the best way to put it.”

“I really am worried that he was head of the CIA for so long harboring all of that bias,” Paul added.

Sen. Rand Paul debates CNN’s Wolf Blitzer about “Trump derangement syndrome” and the media’s reaction to the Trump-Putin summit. He responds to Newt Gingrich, who tweeted that

“I think people have gotten over top on this and lost the big picture,” Paul said. “The big picture is that we should be engaged with Russia. We should have conversations with Russia. We have serious conflicts in various parts of the globe. It would be a mistake not to have open lines of communication with them.”

“And I can tell you what I have told the Russians who were here in the United States when I conversed with them. Hacking into the election if they did it and all likelihood the evidence looks like they did, it has backfired because it’s made relations worse. And so, if they want to have better relations, there should be a great deal of incentive as time goes for them not to do it again because it’s made relations so much worse. And so, my hope is that we will push the issue and that over time those incentives will be apparent,” he added.

“Instead of making this about everything’s about Trump and accusing Trump of collusion with the Russians and all this craziness, that’s not true, we should try to protect the integrity of our elections,” Sen. Paul also said. “Nobody is talking about protecting the integrity of the elections. How would you protect the integrity of the elections? Make sure they’re decentralized. Make sure there’s very good controls from the precinct on up. Make sure we’re not storing the data in a central area where there aren’t checks and balances at the local area. There are a lot of ways to make sure our election is not tampered with.”

“Also, it’s important when you say the Russians meddled, they hacked into Hillary Clinton’s e-mail, and revealed some truths about her that weren’t very popular. I agree they did that. But the thing is is nobody’s alleging that votes were changed, that they got into our electoral system,” he noted.
