Entertainment and politics. Two of the most sinful and decadent professions throughout history and 2018 is no different.
Actors, singers, entertainers, politicians, comedians, so many whom society has placed on a pedestal has fallen from grace recently in various sex scandals.
It seems the Harvey Weinstein perversion and plethora of sex scandals may actually have a use after all. He brought about the exposure and depth of utterly deviant behavior going on among America’s “elite”.
Missouri governor Eric Greitens was indicted Thursday on one count of invasion of privacy, reports KMOV.
The charge says Greitens knowingly took a photograph of a woman in a “state of full or partial nudity without the knowledge and consent” of that woman. The charge goes on to say the photograph was taken “in a place where a person would have a reasonable expectation of privacy, and the defendant subsequently transmitted the image contained in the photograph in a manner that allowed access to that image via a computer.”
Invasion of Privacy in the 1st Degree is a Class D Felony in Missouri.
“Under Missouri law, the Grand Jury has found probable cause to believe that Governor Greitens violated Missouri State Statute 565.252, which was in place at the time of the violation,” Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner said in a statement. “This statute has a provision for both a felony and misdemeanor. The law makes it a felony if a person transmits the image contained in the photograph or film in a manner that allows access to that image via a computer.”
Meanwhile, The Tennessean reports that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says it has obtained nude photos of a woman taken on the phone of former Sgt. Rob Forrest, evidence that investigators believe shows Nashville Mayor Megan Barry engaged in an affair with her former bodyguard while he was on duty.
The photos are referenced in an affidavit in support of a search warrant that Nashville Judge Steve Dozier signed Tuesday seeking access to the contents of Barry’s cellphone. It was filed in the Criminal Court Clerk’s office Thursday.
The TBI obtained a search warrant and took possession of Barry’s phone Friday, the records show. The mayor and her attorney have refused to share the passcode to unlock it, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit cites explicit images of a woman’s body found on Forrest’s phone that appear to be taken while he was on out-of-town trips with the mayor.
Also on Forrest’s phone, subpoenaed by the TBI earlier this month, investigators have uncovered 260 deleted chats between that device and Barry’s phone number as well as 35 deleted call logs, the affidavit states.
