First “Grexit,” then “Brexit,” now “Blexit.”
Rap star Kanye West is calling for black Americans to leave the Democratic Party in a campaign he and other supporters are calling a “Blexit.”
The outspoken fan of President Trump is using his fashion and marketing chops to encourage the “Blexit” campaign, said Candace Owens at Turning Point USA’s Young Black Leadership Summit.
“Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West,” Ms. Owens told the New York Post about the T-shirt line.
Mr. West’s designs debuted this weekend at the Young Black Leadership Summit, though he was not there in person — only “in spirit,” said Ms. Owens, Turning Point’s communications director.

Mr. West “has taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have needed to have,” she told the Post.
Besides Mr. West’s clothing with the slogans “Blexit” and “we free,” the campaign, riffing off other terms for Greece and Britain to exit the European Union, has a Blexit.com website featuring testimonials by black Americans about why they’re no longer Democrats.
Ms. Owens also told the Post of plans for a 2019 Blexit tour of Chicago, Philadelphia and other major cities.
“The Blexit movement will spend 2019 holding rallies in every major city in America that the Democrats have destroyed,” she said.
Ms. Owens, who has been praised by name by President Trump and been a guest host for Fox News, used this weekend’s Young Black Leadership Summit to push the “Blexit” slogan for ending African-Americans’ near-monolithic support for the Democrats.
“There is no group in America that has been more lied to, more abused, or more taken advantage of by the Democrats than black people. At long last, we can return the favor by ENDING their stranglehold on our votes. Support the #BLEXIT today, Patriots!” Ms. Owens, who is communications director for Turning Point USA, wrote in one of several tweets Sunday.

In a weekend column for Breitbart News, she described Blexit as “a national movement of minorities that have awakened to the truth. It is for those who have taken an objective look at our decades-long allegiance to the left and asked ourselves ‘what do we have to show for it?’”
Ms. Owens also put the hashtag into her bio on Twitter, which now reads “Black People Don’t Have to be Democrats. #BLEXIT.” She also told the New York Post that a national tour of major cities “that the Democrats have destroyed” is planned for next year.
Blexit also won an assist from Kanye West, a supporter of President Trump who also has said he likes how Ms. Owens thinks. The rapper has designed a line of T-shirts with the “Blexit” slogan, which were unveiled this weekend.
Rapper Snoop Dogg referred to Kanye West as an “Uncle Tom” over his support of President Donald Trump in an Instagram comment Monday.
Producer DJ Pooh re-posted a photo of Kanye West wearing his “Make America Great Again” hat with the caption “MAGA – Music Ain’t Getting Attention” on his Instagram page, prompting a response from Snoop Dogg.
In the comment section Snoop Dogg wrote, “Make ya music great again nigga.”
“Uncle Tom. Ass nigga,” he also commented.
The “Gin and Juice” rapper previously went after Kanye West and Trump supporters in a radio interview last month.
“I don’t give a fuck. If you like that nigga, you motherfuckin’ racist, fuck you and fuck him. Now what? Draw the line, nigga,” he said, singling out Kanye in particular. “Kanye too, nigga. Don’t forget about him, too, fuck you, too.”
West gave an emotional monologue on the set of Saturday Night Live Saturday that went viral on social media. The 41-year-old rapper went after the media, Democrats, and the welfare state in his speech.
“The blacks weren’t always Democrats. You know it’s like the plan they did, to take the fathers out the home and put them on welfare. Does anybody know about that? That’s a Democratic plan,” West said while wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
“Ninety percent of news are liberal,” he also said. “Ninety percent of TV … LA, New York, writers, rappers, musicians; so it’s easy to make it seem like it’s so, so, so, one-sided.”
The “All of the Lights” singer followed this up with a tweet Sunday with a photo of him wearing a MAGA hat, writing, “this represents good and America becoming whole again.”
“We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love.”

Kanye faced a hostile audience on Saturday Night Live recently, when he spoke out for President Trump.
As expected, CNN’s village idiot Don Lemon was not amused.
Candace Owens praised Kanye for his bravery.
