The Democrats’ hopes for a “blue wave” to sweep through the midterm elections in November appears to be fading. For one thing, those in Sen. Bernard Sanders’ corner vow that a “progressive tsunami” is on its way.
Sorry Bernie, but the odds of Americans embracing Communism to such an extreme as to create a “tsunami” are slim to none.
Axios senior analyst Mike Allen, meanwhile, predicts that a new “Clinton wave” is about to surface, propelled by residual Democratic blind loyalty to Hillary Clinton.
Unfortunately for the plans of America’s left, Communist-Democrats are in a panic after their beloved propaganda fake news outlet CNN warned them that a red wave, not a blue wave, is building, the Washington Times reports.
“The Democrats’ advantage in the generic ballot dipped from 16 points in February to six points in March to just three points now. The party’s advantage has waned among enthusiastic voters as Republican enthusiasm has grown,” reports Jennifer Agiesta, CNN’s polling director.
It’s close: 53 percent of Democrats and 50 percent of Republicans now say they are “very” or “extremely” enthusiastic about voting for Congress this year. The number was 45 percent among all Americans, the poll found.
So what is it driving the polling numbers down for Democrats? Communism.
Until the Democrats became openly Communist, they alluded to programs in vague terms, but have since switched to speaking publicly about Single-Payer health care modeled after the now-defunct Soviet Union, along with crushing tax increases, open borders, amnesty for 40 million illegal aliens, among others.
Since they have become open about their Marxist platform, their polling numbers have been falling as fast as Venezuela’s inflation is rising.
So the only questions that remain are this. Will real Americans see the Communist threat and show up in droves to send the Democrat-Communists packing, or will apathy and complacency rule the day, sending the United States diving into a Marxist hell?
