It begins. As the Mueller investigation accidentally uncovers more and more Democrat misdeeds, Deep State operatives such as John Brennan, former Communist Muslim CIA Director are becoming increasingly desperate, yelling louder and louder about Trump’s supposed guilt in a vain attempt to deflect from their own.
Now, as the noose of evidence slowly tightens, Obama’s Deep State operatives are beginning to turn on each other.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said Sunday that he thinks former CIA Director John Brennan’s rhetoric is becoming an issue “in and of itself.”
“John and his rhetoric have become an issue in and of itself,” Clapper said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “John is subtle like a freight train and he’s gonna say what’s on his mind.”
Clapper’s comments came in response to an op-ed penned by Brennan in The New York Times this week, in which he wrote that President Trump colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.
Clapper said he empathized with Brennan, but voiced concerns for Brennan’s fiery rhetoric toward Trump and his administration.
“I think that the common denominator among all of us [in the intelligence community] that have been speaking up … is genuine concern about the jeopardy and threats to our institutions,” Clapper said.
Brennan’s claims drew criticism from some in the intelligence community who said the timing was suspect.
Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) on Thursday took aim at Brennan for “purport[ing] to know, as fact, that the Trump campaign colluded with a foreign power.”
“If his statement is based on intelligence he has seen since leaving office, it constitutes an intelligence breach. If he has some other personal knowledge of or evidence of collusion, it should be disclosed to the special counsel, not The New York Times,” Burr said.
Burr added that Trump has the “full authority” to rescind security clearance if the statements were “purely political and based on conjecture.”
Burr’s reaction echoes those of other Republicans who have described Brennan’s actions as inappropriate.
“He’s acted like a butthead. He’s acted like a political hack and not a national security professional,” Sen. Joe Kennedy (R-La.) told reporters.
Trump revoked Brennan’s security clearance last week, saying that
his “lying and recent conduct characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary is wholly inconsistent with access to the nation’s most closely held secrets and facilities, the very aim of our adversaries, which is to sow division and chaos.”
The move that was criticized by suspected Deep State operatives was seen as a punitive measure against one of Trump’s most outspoken critics.
Perhaps exposing their allegiance to the Communist Deep State, more than 60 former intelligence officials denounced Trump’s decision, stating that ex-intelligence officials should have the right to express their opinions on national security matters without punishment.
“All of us believe it is critical to protect classified information from unauthorized disclosure,” the group wrote in a letter obtained by CNN. “But we believe equally strongly that former government officials have the right to express their unclassified views on what they see as critical national security issues without fear of being punished for doing so.”
Clapper this week also criticized the Trump administration for its decision, joining more than a dozen high-ranking intelligence officials who signed a letter censuring the president for the move.
Are we seeing the beginning of the end of the Deep State cabal that has embedded itself into our government? Only time will tell.
Recently, Newt Gingrich blasted the Obama administration for the latest revelations of spying on the Trump campaign and predicted former intelligence officials could be going to jail.
“I don’t believe that in an administration that was as tightly centralized as the Obama administration that you could have as many different things going on – all of them illegal – without the president being briefed,” Gingrich told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham.
Discussing several bombshell reports over the last few days including that of an FBI informant who allegedly had contacts with members of President Trump’s campaign, Gingrich noted how Obama hacks worked at keeping information hidden from the American public.
Gingrich reacted to a video clip of former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper who appeared on ABC’s “The View” saying he didn’t lie under oath and didn’t like using the term “spying.”
Gingrich admitted he was “astounded at how bad he looks now” and how the man he has known for years now looks so “dishonest and incompetent.”
“He was a great public servant for many, many years,” he told Ingraham. “But when the director — former director of intelligence tells you he doesn’t like to use the word ‘spying’… I mean think about it. He was the Director of National Intelligence! What do you think he was in charge of doing?!? He was in charge of spying!”
These actions were committed under Obama’s watch, Gingrich pointed out, with the confidence that Hillary Clitnon would win the 2016 presidential election.
“I think what happened was people like Clapper and the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency [John Brennan], all these guys thought they could get away with this because Hillary [Clinton] was gonna win and when Hillary won the fix would be in, everything will be covered up,” he said.
“And around 10 o’clock on election night, they all began to realize this could get really bad and they were shifting gears from protecting Hillary, which had been their job for two years, to trying to destroy Trump,” he continued.
“Now you are watching people who, I think, in every case are in danger of going to jail if the system works and people are actually tested on, ‘Did you tell the truth under oath?’ And then Clapper’s a perfect example,” Ginrich said.
Flynn’s son, Michael Flynn Jr., cryptically tweeted on Monday, “You’re all going down. You know who you are. Mark my word….”
