Anti-Trump Minions Devastated With News From Harvard Professor & Trump’s Lawyer
Harvard Professor & Trump Lawyer To Dems – The President CANNOT Obstruct Justice
President Trump’s personal lawyer John Dowd recently told Axios the “President cannot obstruct justice.”
He explained that is “because he is the chief law enforcement officer under [the Constitution’s Article II] and has every right to express his view of any case.”
The statement follows a Saturday tweet made from Trump’s personal account.
“I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies,” it noted.
I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!

Dowd said the tweet sent out from the president’s Twitter account over the weekend was his “mistake.”
He said he had drafted the tweet, according to Axios. But Dowd claimed the tweet did not “admit obstruction.”
“That is an ignorant and arrogant assertion,” he told Axios.
Flynn last week pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators about his conversations during the presidential transition with Russia’s U.S. ambassador about sanctions related to the Kremlin’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz on Monday said President Trump was within his rights as commander in chief when he fired former FBI director James Comey, and warned Democrats trying to take him down on obstruction of justice charges that they won’t succeed.
“You cannot charge a president with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional power to fire Comey and his constitutional authority to tell the Justice Department who to investigate, who not to investigate. That’s what Thomas Jefferson did, that’s what Lincoln did, that’s what Roosevelt did. We have precedents that clearly establish that,” Dershowitz told Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” Monday morning.
